MAY 26 2015 BACKYARD BURNING RESTRICTIONS effective noon MAY 27

For complete details click the fire hazard rating box on the Lias opening page or go to fire safety, the BC Forests Bulletin is posted there.   Those operating heavy equipment or performing other high risk (for fire) activities such as chain sawing please ensure you are aware of the regulations that may become effective as the fire hazard increases.  As of May 27 there are backyard burning restrictions, no restrictions on industrial activities have been imposed yet.  If you have questions about any of these regulations call the Coastal Fire Centre or me.
