Shortly before 4pm Harry said that they would begin the 4pm run, with no guarantee that they would go all the way across to French Creek.

 

Update at 2:30pm - the ferry is making its 2:30 run to Lasqueti. Depending on weather and waves, it might make the 4pm run from Lasqueti. They will decide at 4pm.

 

Shortly after 9am Harry called from the ferry saying that they were still trying to get into French Creek to end the 8am run. He said that there would be no ferry service until further notice, and definitely no 9:45 or 11am run.  Call the ferry house, 333-8787 for updates.

Lasqueti Ferry

The ferry runs from French Creek Harbour on Vancouver Island to False Bay on Lasqueti Island. Pay parking is available at the marina. The trip takes from 50 minutes to over an hour (in rough waters).   Passengers and freight only - no cars!
