False Bay Dock

On January 6, Transport Canada launched the Divestiture Phase of its Port Asset Transfer Program, which includes our dock at False Bay. If this goes ahead, a variety of outcomes are possible, none of which look very good for us. 

I urge everyone to write to the Minister of Transport and the Regional manager, to request a reversal of the decision to include False Bay in the Divestiture program. Let them know that we rely on the dock as our access to the rest of Canada! If we can make an impression, we might just get them to reconsider, so I suggest both old time paper letters as well as emails. If you want to cc me your email, I will be able to collect them to document the numbers in an additional message to the Minister.
