Christmas Bird Count

Bird Counts are held in over 2,000 locations across Canada and the Americas.  These bird observations have been collected into a huge database that reflects the distributions and numbers of winter birds over time.  You can be a part of it!  Lasqueti's bird count will be held on Mon. Dec. 29, 2014 from sunrise until the last owl is counted.

A potluck and tally will be hosted by Connie Haist.  Don't forget to take a camera with you - bring your digital pictures to the potluck for help to identify those tricky birds.
