Dealing with Difficult Landscapes - Saturday April 26th 10 am -12pm

The Lasqueti landscape can be a tough go when it comes to building a garden. Join your fellow gardeners for discussion on how to overcome the challenges of
rock bluffs, gravelly garden soils, making compost, nutrition and choosing the right plants.  
A wide range of topics will be covered over coffee, snacks and a garden tour.

Composting
Saturday May 3rd 10am - 12pm
Hot, cold or worm composting, what is the most appropriate method for you?
Live demonstration on building a worm bin, identifying the bugs at work and preventing rats.
Learn the specifics of each system to get your compost rocking this season.
