Become a LETS! volunteer driver!
The Lasqueti Eco-Transportation Society has applied for funding through Environment Canada's EcoAction program to run an on-island Vanpool to transport people and freight to and from False Bay at select ferry times. Scheduled service will run along Main Rd in both directions from teapot corner, extending to both Squitty Bay and Spring Bay, and possibly Weldon Rd.
If we get funding, the service will begin in April.
To make the Vanpool work for the community, LETS! needs your help! We need volunteer drivers - even one 3 hour run/month is a great help!
You must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record.
